Event Description: Join us for this next installation in the Spotlight Series, as we host Commonwealth Corporation (CommCorp) for a 2-part series, where they'll provide an overview of services they offer that may be of interest to the cultural sector.
CommCorp is a quasi-public agency responsible for administering and delivering a wide range of publicly and and privately funded programs. They ensure that Massachusetts businesses have access to a pipeline of highly skilled workers and that youth and adults in Massachusetts have pathways to good jobs in the knowledge economy.
This session will be focused on CommCorp's sector-focused workforce development programs. These programs fund partnerships of employers, MassHire Workforce Boards, community colleges, community-based organizations, and other entities to both support workers in enhancing their skills and advance in the labor market while also helping employers address their hiring, training, and retention needs. They collectively serve a wide range of sectors, and fund workforce development projects all across the state.
